Consumers Digest Says Dodge Offers Several 'Best Buys'

When you’re in the market for a new vehicle, it never hurts to do a little investigative work before you actually walk onto the dealership lot. How’s the mileage? Does it handle well in the city? The country? Will it fulfill my needs as my family grows?

 

One publication and online resource providing many of those answers is Consumers Digest, a review periodical well known for its annual “Best Buy” automotive ratings.

Are You Looking for Room to Drive?

Americans inherently want more room. When the early U.S. states and territories were getting crowded in the 1800s, people headed west, right?

 

And, that same desire for personal space applies when we're out and about driving or just going along for the ride.

 

Inspired by one of our @Chrysler Twitter followers*, we put together a chart to compare the passenger space of our more roomier SUVs, crossovers and minivans. We even tossed in the Fiat 500, which tacks up pretty well in driver's space compared to its bigger cousins, doesn't it?

More from 'Imported from Detroit,' featuring America's best-selling minivan

The next iteration of Chrysler brand's "Imported from Detroit" campaign will begin airing this week starring America's best-selling minivan, a vehicle that pushes the standard of functionality, technology, comfort, safety and driving experience.

Several young, inspiring stars of Detroit are featured in the new campaign, including America's No. 1 female boxer and three-time world champion, LaTonya King, who trains at the legendary Kronk Gym in Detroit, and Mason Pew, a member of Michigan's 2011 state hockey champions, the Novi Wildcats, who as underdogs overturned the reigning title team.
