Chiara Basso is an Italian journalist who just started her second project of driving across and exploring the United States of America. What happened to the American Dream? Is it still alive? Has it ever existed?
Probably we are all waiting for a show that will never start like this cowboy that I met in Nashville. Who knows. Like in a Plato cave: we see shadows, promises of a better life but they are not true. Or, on the contrary, there are still a lot of people who make it and can get a better life than their parents.
I've started to ask myself all these questions while I was traveling from Detroit to New Orleans on a yellow 500 and now I will try to find an answer to my doubts traveling on the land of dreams.. the West coast from july 9 to august 16. On a Fiat 500.
