As someone who knew John Herlitz very well, I would like to send my condolences to his family. Not only was John a great designer, he was also " one of the good guys". He always took time to talk and listen, regardless of one's "rank" or position. Along with Tom Gale and Trevor Creed, John led a great team of designers, that were innovative and well ahead of their time. I think the corporation should honor John, the man and the designer, somewhere in the design studio, or in the Museum. He was a man admired by so many and his contibutions to Chrysler and the world of design, should not go unnoticed!
