A Recipe for Cool

A heaping cup of talent, three huge tablespoons of passion and a large dollop of opportunity. For three Chrysler Group vehicle designers, these were the magic ingredients behind a palate of sleek, cool fashions now available for Dodge customers and fans to buy on the all-new Dodge merchandising site, Dodge Life. For these car guys and gals, the chance to design apparel and other brand gear was a rare opportunity, but one which they all quickly embraced.

The 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic and Challenger SRT8® Furious Fuchsia editions are busting loose to commemorate 40 years of Dodge Challenger performance.  But supplies, as they say, are limited with just 400 Challenger SRT8® Furious Fuchsia models planned for production this spring. 

We plan to bring you up-close video of the hot shade of Challenger from the floor of the Chicago Auto Show later in the week. But in the meantime, read on for the press release on these special editions sure to warm the Windy City.

Why Advertise During the Super Bowl?

Why is the Dodge Brand advertising the 2010 Dodge Charger R/T during the Super Bowl?

It’s a fair question. Here are a few stats to consider:

1. The network airing Sunday’s game expects 100 million people will tune in to see the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints square off in Miami for Super Bowl XLIV.

2. The last two Super Bowl games were the most watched in NFL history, with 55 percent male viewership and 45 percent female viewership.

Dodge Roars in Super Bowl’s 2Q

No matter how manly Super Bowl XLIV happens to be, just before the first half’s two-minute warning sounds, it’s going to get a testosterone boost. That’s when a new Dodge Brand spot is set to air during the commercial break. Be sure to stay planted to your couch and hold onto the cushions.
