Easter means many things for many people. Not only is it a religious holiday but a holiday of traditions. Besides its very powerful religious significance, Easter is about discovery. Some popular traditions include the belief that the Easter bunny hides brightly colored Easter eggs and baskets filled with candy.
Perhaps that's why a very creative Chrysler Group designer came up with the term "Easter eggs" to describe some of the hidden gems found in many of our cars, trucks and SUVs. Since it is Easter, I thought I'd share some of those surprises that can only be found deep...

The big auto show in the Big Apple has been a big one in recent years for Chrysler Group – and 2014 will be no different.
The New York International Auto Show will see at least five new vehicles and two media events from Chrysler Group / Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Plus, this will be the first time NYIAS-goers will get an up-close look at the 2015 Chrysler 200, which is due to arrive at dealers this quarter.

The ¼-mile record for the modern-day Challenger has been broken once again, and this time it was topped by the record-holder himself. Rob Goss and his 2009 Dodge Challenger with a DragPak kit bested the original record with a time of 7.32 seconds, more than half a second faster.
The Challenger hit 187 mph and Goss was able to post the time during his first quarter-mile pass during the National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) Muscle Car Series in the Street Outlaw Class at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Fla., on March 22, 2014.
Racing Vipers ready for return to Long Beach

A year ago, the racing Vipers of the SRT Motorsports team were happy to leave the ALMS race in Long Beach, Calif., with a pole position and a podium finish in the GT class.
This weekend the Viper GTS-R race cars return to Long Beach with the new TUDOR United SportsCar Championship with more confidence and podium finishes in the first two races of this season.
