Ladies and gentlemen, start your XBOX 360’s and rev up the V10-powered, SCCA SPEED World Challenge GT Dodge Viper. No fire suit is required. “Forza Motorsport 3,” a Microsoft-developed video game that debuted late last month exclusively for XBOX 360. It features the Dodge Viper Competition Coupe driven by Cindi Lux, of Lux Performance Group.
Microsoft picked Lux's Viper (for obvious reasons) but also because of “its on-track success, aggressive design, guttural power and trademark Mopar ‘Liquid Metal’ paint scheme,” so says the press release announcing the game.

Our friends over at Red Letter Dodge posted some a.. - let's just call it "butt kicking" - footage from a recent meeting between the Viper Club of America (VCA) and SRT engineers at Chrysler's Chelsea Proving Grounds. It includes three Dodge Vipers doing what they do best in a seriously fun autocross competition between the two groups. All the details can be found here. |

Here’s a statistic for you: For the 2010 model year, Chrysler Group LLC products make up nearly 15 percent of the total vehicles named Top Safety Picks by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Specifically, the IIHS selected the 2010 Jeep® Patriot, 2010 Chrysler Sebring, 2010 Dodge Avenger and 2010 Dodge Journey for the awards. That makes two years running for the Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Avenger and Dodge Journey as IIHS safety choices for both the 2009 and 2010 model years.
