by Ed Garsten

UPDATE: We're very sad to report Mr. Hubert (Hubie) Fields passed away on Sunday, July 27.  "His mission was done on this earth and he has returned to heaven to give his 'full report'," his grandson, Kirk Bierley told us. I was thrilled, when in May, Bierley called to let me know his grandfather "is still around!".That was seven years after we first met him on the occasion of his 100th birthday in 2006.

Passion Rivals Horsepower at Spring Festival of LXs

by Dale Jewett

Cars drive in for Spring Festival of LXs.

The nearly 1,000 cars that rolled into the Verizon Amphitheater parking lot in Irvine, Calif., last weekend packed plenty of horsepower and attention-grabbing looks.

More importantly, the steady stream of Chrysler 300s and Dodge Chargers, Challengers and Magnums carried some of the Chrysler Group's most-passionate fans.

This was the ninth year for the Spring Festival of LXs, organized by the SoCalLX club and LXForums.com. And every year the number of cars and people that make the trip to the Spring Fest has grown. Those who...
