The all-new 2013 Dodge Dart has captured its 27th award since its introduction. The latest award comes from MotorWeek. Television's longest-running automotive series named the Dodge Dart the best compact car of 2013. The announcement came at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. Conner Avenue (Detroit) Assembly Plant Team Leader Tony Banks welcomed a new addition to his team when President/CEO of SRT Brand Ralph Gilles arrived at the plant on Dec. 18.Gilles wasn’t there for a meeting or for a tour. He was ready to assemble a Viper with the other members of Banks’ team. Before assigning Gilles his job for the day, Banks and the team reviewed safety, quality and cycle time specifications with their new teammate. Gilles torqued bolts, checked quality specifications and installed doors. Said Banks: he “did a fantastic job.” ![]() |
