Clouds Can't Curb Cruise's Enthusiasm

Oh, so it rained a bit during this weekend's Woodward Dream Cruise. What's a few drops between hundreds of thousands of hot ride happy, car-crazy enthusiasts and owners from around the country and beyond. The annual come-as-you-car party down the main drag from just north of Detroit's city limits to the suburbs was its usual passion on parade. The 16th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise is about to be Moparized.

Mopar® will be a force at the Woodward Dream Cruise this Saturday, when more than a million fans of classic cars and auto culture will have a chance to check out the collection of Moparized models at the Chrysler Group stand, located at the corner of 13 Mile and Woodward in Royal Oak, Mich.

Former Indy Racer, Richie Hearn, Wins Dodge Viper Cup Race 4 at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit

Richie Hearn led all 22 race laps from the pole for a convincing win on Sunday.

“Yesterday, I feathered the clutch and didn’t get the start I wanted, said Hearn. “But today, after talking to other Viper guys, I dropped the clutch completely off the line, saw the opening on the outside, and went for it.”

Hearn’s relatively unchallenged laps left other drivers fighting for second and third spots. It was an intense competition with one major contact incident and six spins off the track.

Here are the very first production images of the first-ever Mopar ’10 Challenger.

Just 500 of these models will be available, so place your orders with your local Dodge dealership. The U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for Mopar ’10 is $38,000 for an automatic transmission and $39,000 for a manual transmission. Both prices include $750 for destination.
