Chrysler Employee in Journey of Hope Across America by Catherine Gasior June 12, 2013 10:01 AM A flight from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. takes about five-and-a-half hours, driving takes about 42 hours. But how long would it take to ride your bicycle? Well, for Chrysler Group employee Doug Meenan that trip will take about two months. Meenan joined 25 cyclists on the cross-country “Journey of Hope” campaign. The bikers departed on June 9 from the Golden Gate Bridge and will arrive at Capitol Hill on August 10. Chrysler Challenges Journalists to Step into Fitness by Valerie Oehmke June 6, 2013 6:58 PM Chrysler Group is putting its money where its mouth is, or rather feet are. The company launched a 30-day Wellness Challenge on May 25, encouraging journalists to out-walk each other to earn scholarship money. Members from the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) are competing to log the most steps on their pedometers. FIAT Brand Reaches a Major Milestone by Jen Herman June 3, 2013 7:15 PM With Chrysler Group's May sales announced earlier today, FIAT brand reached a new milestone with more than 100,000 units of the new Fiat 500 sold in North America since the brand's return in 2011. In 2012 alone, Fiat 500 sales in the U.S., Canada and Mexico were more than 50,000. That's a 111% increase over the previous year. Let me help you visualize the magnitude of this achievement.
