A flight from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. takes about five-and-a-half hours, driving takes about 42 hours. But how long would it take to ride your bicycle?
Well, for Chrysler Group employee Doug Meenan that trip will take about two months.
Meenan joined 25 cyclists on the cross-country “Journey of Hope” campaign. The bikers departed on June 9 from the Golden Gate Bridge and will arrive at Capitol Hill on August 10. During the trip, the team will raise money for charity.

Chrysler Challenges Journalists to Step into Fitness

Chrysler Group is putting its money where its mouth is, or rather feet are. The company launched a 30-day Wellness Challenge on May 25, encouraging journalists to out-walk each other to earn scholarship money.
Members from the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) are competing to log the most steps on their pedometers.
The first matchup is between NABJ-Detroit and NABJ-Chicago. The two cities are using the competition as motivation to get in better shape and to win.

Chrysler Museum Re-opens for One Day Only

Whether you missed your chance to check out the Walter P. Chrysler Museum before it closed its doors in late 2012 or you were a dedicated attendee, on June 8 you will have one last chance to explore more than 60 Chrysler vehicles on display.
While the museum is open to the public, Chrysler Employee Motorsport Association (CEMA) will also kick off its annual Charity Car Show in the museum’s parking lot. The show will be celebrating “Muscle Cars: Past and Present.”

FIAT Brand Reaches a Major Milestone

With Chrysler Group's May sales announced earlier today, FIAT brand reached a new milestone with more than 100,000 units of the new Fiat 500 sold in North America since the brand's return in 2011.
In 2012 alone, Fiat 500 sales in the U.S., Canada and Mexico were more than 50,000. That's a 111% increase over the previous year.
