Chrysler Group LLC’s U.S. sales continue to build momentum with a 5 percent increase in July compared the previous year, marking the fourth consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases. But the dog days of summer won’t slow down the company, which is readying a product onslaught of 16-all-new or significantly refreshed vehicles across all Chrysler Group brands in the coming months.

Domestic automakers moved up in the J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality Study (IQS) for the 2010 model year, and Chrysler Chrysler Group vehicles were no exception.
The Ram, Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep brands are continuing to improve at a rate faster than the competition, said Doug Betts.. It marks the second consecutive year that Chrysler Group vehicles have exceeded the industry’s rate of improvement.

As you may have heard by now, Chrysler Group LLC today reported a U.S. sales increase of 33 percent. That’s certainly a good month for the company, but it also marked: The second consecutive year-over-year percentage sales improvement, and the first time that monthly sales have topped the 100,000 threshold since March 2009.
