Clouds Can't Curb Cruise's Enthusiasm by Ed Garsten August 22, 2010 6:25 PM Oh, so it rained a bit during this weekend's Woodward Dream Cruise. What's a few drops between hundreds of thousands of hot ride happy, car-crazy enthusiasts and owners from around the country and beyond. The annual come-as-you-car party down the main drag from just north of Detroit's city limits to the suburbs was its usual passion on parade. As you may have heard by now, Chrysler Group LLC today reported a U.S. sales increase of 33 percent. That’s certainly a good month for the company, but it also marked: The second consecutive year-over-year percentage sales improvement, and the first time that monthly sales have topped the 100,000 threshold since March 2009.
