Chrysler Group International Sales Also Up

Chrysler Group sales continue to increase, and not only in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. During the first seven months of 2012, Chrysler Group sales in markets outside of North America increased 23% versus the same period the previous year, despite the depressed market conditions in Europe.

This increase is the result of three factors.

Marchionne: "Focus on rebuilding a great car company"

It's mid-way through 2011 and Chrysler Group LLC continues on the right track. We're still less than two years removed from November 2009 when the company's five-year business plan was laid out, but progress does continue.


That was evident in the second quarter 2011 results Webcast and conference call July 26.

Chrysler Group: Many Positive Milestones in Year 1

Nov. 4, 2009, is a big day in Chrysler Group history. That’s the day CEO Sergio Marchionne (pictured below) and other group execs laid out a five-year plan for the company and the vehicle brands.

During the presidential visit to one of our Kokomo, Ind., facilities in November, Marchionne told a reporter, "We're a long way from fully achieving our plan. We're at step one of a five-year plan."

It is a long process – but Chrysler Group is headed in the right direction.
