Stuff the CANvan

by Catherine Gasior

The 'CAN'avan is coming to Toronto! No, it’s not a new model that you can find in dealerships. But rather a life-size Dodge Grand Caravan completely built out of cans.
If you’re like me, you’re probably thinking, “Oh, cool, recycled cans are melted down to make the sheet metal for a car.” But that’s not it. Think more like LEGOs®. But instead, each piece will be a can of food.

Since it's the 30th anniversary of the minivan, Chrysler Canada wanted to commemorate Canada's favorite minivan in...

Journey of a Lifetime

by Jen Herman

It would take a full day to drive 620 miles down the California coast, and that's without any stops. But try the trip on a bicycle. Sure, that's a lot of peddling. Now try it without the use of your legs. You read that right. Chrysler Group employee Marc Henretta is no stranger to the event created by the Challenged Athletes Foundation, but that doesn't make it any less impressive. 1. Dodge Grand Caravan: 108,127
  2. Honda Odyssey: 97,824
  3. Chrysler Town & Country: 87,569
  4. Toyota Sienna: 87,187

But there's still three months to go in 2012. If you're in the market for a minivan -- and want to help the Grand Caravan...

'Local Heroes' Contest Winner Receives Keys to New Wheelchair-accessible 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan minivan

by Ralph Kisiel

Alberto Cruz and his family can once again drive together as a family.

Such a simple act – piling into the family vehicle to go to the mall, a picnic or out to eat – wasn’t possible after Alberto’s life-changing accident last summer. Alberto, an energetic 15-year-old from Willimantic, Conn., was paralyzed from the shoulders down in a freak surfing accident at Narragansett Beach in Rhode Island.

The Cruz family didn’t have a vehicle that would accommodate Alberto’s specialized wheelchair. For a time after the accident, the family would transport their son the short distance to...
