Big Boy, Big Men, Big Blocks, Challengers and Leno

Make believe it was a scene from "American Graffiti" with the clock fast-forwarded to Dec. 18, 2009. At the iconic SoCal cruisin' spot, Bob's Big Boy in Burbank, the Challenger Engine Block Party was too good to miss. The Dodge-sponsored event, activated by Autoweek magazine attracted scores of big block-loving enthusiasts, including talk show host and motor maven Jay Leno, who drove up in a custom Challenger.

HEMI Orange Returns

When it comes to car colors, orange can come in a plethora of hues - from burnt orange to pumpkin to tangerine. And then, of course, there’s HEMI Orange.

 

That’s our personal choice among oranges, and evidently it’s also a favorite among Dodge Challenger buyers who have let their love of the HEMI Orange be known. Dodge took notice and once again will be taking orders for HEMI Orange on 2010 Dodge R/T and SRT8 models.

The SEMA Santa is bringing the goods from Mopar and the best design minds at Chrysler Group, including a  556-horsepower Dodge Challenger, a Jeep® Wrangler that melds into a mobile campsite, a luxury Dodge Ram 1500 and a seriously (very seriously) rugged Jeep Wrangler with 40-inch tires.

It’s kind of hard to believe that the babies born when the first Woodward Dream Cruise got rolling are now flashing their learners’ permits.
