Commuters, highway travelers and road warriors of all backgrounds take note: Kelley Blue Book has named the 2010 Chrysler 300 among its list of the 10 Most Comfortable Cars Under $30,000.

Chargers and Challys and 300's, Oh My!

There's more than passion that goes along with enthusiasm for Chrysler's LX platform, there's downright devotion. The LX platform is the basic architecture for the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, and the now departed, Dodge Magnum. LX lovers staged their annual LX "love-in" aka the 2010 Spring Festival of LX's in Irvine, CA. My colleagues Scott Brown and Jiyan Cadiz grabbed some shots and comments from a few design honchos who made the trip from our Auburn Hills, MI headquarters.

LX Festival ... Spring Break Comes Early

LX marks the spot this Saturday.

That's when enthusiasts, fans and collectors of Chrysler's LX platform will descend on Irvine, CA for the annual LX Festival. They're celebrating the LX platform, which the DNA underpinnings for the Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger and the Dodge Magnum (now out of production). Joe Dehner, Head of Ram and Dodge Design, previews this year's festival and discusses why the LX platform is so beloved. (The above video was produced by Ed Garsten).

A couple of black and white, yet very vivid TV spots from the Chrysler brand advertising group, Fallon, to share with you.  My personal favorite is above. You've gotta love the old timey music combined with the kids' expressions as the Chrysler Town & Country (AKA: “a playground on four wheels”) rolls by. This is definitely an example of life imitating art.
