By big issues and trust me I'm not alone here, I know a couple former "Jeep guys", is that in the process of "taking care of the luxury SUV crossovers" you are leaving the core Jeep buyers who kept the brand afloat since the first CJ rolled of the line are being orphaned. What I would love to see, and what would get me to buy my first Jeep is this; A small Jeep, basically appointed, fully convertible and "Rubicon ready" like the Wrangler, but with a fuel efficient engine 30MPG+, all wheel drive WITH LOW RANGE, and enough options and aftermarkets to keep the off-road tuners happy (HINT* Real off-roaders do not use GPS navigation to get to their destination. THEY MAKE THEIR OWN ROUTE). Unless you want to just want to cede that market to aftermarket kits and one-offs and hope the do right by the Jeep brand. Your choice I guess, but I for one wouldn't be caught dead driving a FIAT Panda with a Jeep grille.
