Think of it as trench warfare … without the bullets.
The top Mopar Ram Truck drivers will defend their hold of victory lane this weekend for the third and fourth rounds of the 2012 Traxxas TORC (The Off-Road Championship) Series season event at RedBud MX in Buchanan, Mich.
Andrew Caddell, Rob MacCachren, Ricky Johnson and Bryce Menzies return to competition under the Mopar banner after winning five of the six main events at Charlotte last month.
“Everyone will see a brand-new track at RedBud and will be in the same boat figuring it out,” said Caddell, who finished on the podium at the venue in 2011. “We have a great set-up on our Mopar Ram Truck this year, and it has been handling great. I think we’ll adapt to the track pretty quick and get right up to speed.”

This weekend’s event at RedBud MX begins on Friday, May 25 with a practice session, followed by a full racing program on Saturday, May 26 for PRO Light, PRO 2 and PRO 4, including practice, qualifying and feature races. The event concludes on Sunday, May 27, with feature events.

The Traxxas TORC Series was founded for the 2009 season by former motocross racer and Motorcycle Hall of Fame member Ricky Johnson. It is an American national short course off-road racing series that races primarily in the Midwestern United States. It is sanctioned and officiated by the United States Auto Club (USAC). The title sponsor for the series is radio controlled car manufacturer Traxxas.
