Getting the Straight Story From the Customer

Betty Newman  - writer

While Chrysler VP and Chief Marketing Officer Deborah Meyer chatted up journalists at our What's New program in Chelsea, MI in June, she spent some time with Voices to talk about how the Customer Advisory Board is becoming an important, and honest, pipeline flowing with consumers likes, dislikes and desires directly to the company.

The CAB has been a great experience for many, many customers. For anyone who thinks that this is strickly a PR move, I urge you to join. Nothing is sugar coated there, no punches are pulled and we are listened to. I'm sure it's painful at times for Chrysler Executives to read the comments because while many of us bleed Chrysler Blue, Dodge Red and Jeep Green, we have  a passion for the future of Chrysler and the comments there are hard hitting, blunt and to the point. When we don't like the direction Chrysler has taken in the past, we speak out about it. We want Chrysler to be the best automaker and we want our children and Grandchildren to be able to buy American made Chrysler products well into the distant future. The CAB is a great opportunity to get your thoughts, concerns and dreams about future products, heard by those who make the decisions.

I would love to join the CAB, but all I get is emails telling me they have no room.  It's a shame since I've owned exclusively Chrysler vehicles for the last 27 years.  I'm still following along though.
