I've just wondered a long time, why Dodge Ram won't have a smaller diesels in 1500 series trucks, engine like Cummins 4 BT or Sisudiesel 4.4 TD? Engine like this would be bull's eye : Its tuff and stiff enough to serve in different circumstances, it has torgue to haul everthing, what's needed in it's class and it would have good mileage: with good combo it should reach 25 MPG easlily, and diesel don't care much about load! Car like this migth be good workhorses, and they would last longer than with lighter gas engines. Just a thought
