Mr. Garsten, I don't know if you will ever receive this, let alone answer it, but I think it's important. Today I came across an article regarding Richard Cordray, the Attorney General of Ohio. In the article, Mr. Cordray has declared his intention to file an objection to the sale of Chrysler LLC's assets to the new entity established by Fiat SpA. Mr. Cordray believes that the sale could create stress on his state's worker's compensation system if the new entity refuses to fulfill Chrysler's obligations to its Ohio work force. Mr. Cordray's counterpart in Michigan, Mike Cox, has filed similar objections. I am worried that these objections may derail Chrysler's plan to rebuild itself via this alliance with Fiat. Is there a way that Mr. Cordray and Mr. Cox can be assured that their fears are unfounded?

I'm saddened by the closing of the recent plants. My husband is a third generation Chrysler auto worker. As of today, we have not received notification from our company that our plant is closing. We have been offered buyout packages but no real explanation why. Don't we deserve an explanation. A sorry? My husband, his mother, grandfather, his aunt, his uncle and his friends have given their lives to Chrysler. I never understood what it was like to believe in an auto industry until I met my husband. Chrysler was our family. Don't we deserve an explanation why? You walked away from us but we did not walk away from Chrysler. Losing my husband's job isn't the worst thing, it is losing my husband's family legacy and the Chrysler brand in our lives.
