The weather is warming up, the days are growing longer, which means cruising season has begun.


 

 

Cruise Nights are returning to the Walter P. Chrysler Museum, giving car enthusiasts the chance to open up their garage and bring out their classic ride.


 

 

 

The first Cruise Night will be held this Thursday, June 11 from 6 to 9 p.m., rain or shine, and continuing every other Thursday thorugh Aug. 20.


 

 

 

There will be parking for all makes and models, “best of” awards, music, free Museum tours and food concessions for sale and keepsake cruiser photos, compliments of Cruis'news.


 

 

 

New this year will be Enthisiast Avenue, a collection of Detroit area businesses showcasing vehicle maintenance and restoration products and services, as well as entertainment options for auto enthusiasts.


 

 

 

The Museum is open for extended hours, with reduced entry fees of $1 for children and $2 for adults. Check out the new Jeep in the Movies special exhibit, featuring two celebrated vehicles: the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon featured in Paramount Pictures', Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life and the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that co-starred in the Paramount release, Sahara.
