Unfortunately, I think Chrysler resale/residual values are about to take a major hit since new Chrysler will not take on product liabilty suits for any Chrysler built before last month. A consumer agency is asking the government to affix a warning label about this to all used Chrysler vehicles. The sticker would say that consumers have no recompense if they are injured as a result of vehicle defects. If approved this plan would decimate the resale value of most Chrysler vehicles and make my 2004 model virtually worthless. Chrysler should do like GM and agree to accept any product liability case filed after the emergence from bankruptcy. Don't abandon your customers.

Mwhite.....I disagree! Chryslers Vehicle Values are actually increasing, not decreasing. Also Chrysler should not do anything like GM! Chrysler just needs to stop selling vehicles to Fleets (Like they have stopped), and increase Quality, and cut non profitable dealers! This is how you get better resale value!! Also Who purchases a Vehicle and worries about resale value anyway?? When I purchase a Vehicle I drive it until its dead!! And With Chryslers Lifetime Warranty, that will be a very VERY long time!!!
