Our friends over at Red Letter Dodge posted some a.. - let's just call it "butt kicking" - footage from a recent meeting between the Viper Club of America (VCA) and SRT engineers at Chrysler's Chelsea Proving Grounds. It includes three Dodge Vipers doing what they do best in a seriously fun autocross competition between the two groups. All the details can be found here.
Why can't Chrysler just put this on Tv as a commercial, then add the text. "Visit your local Dodge dealer today" ????? This would excite some people and probably sell more cars!
Excellent point! Apparently "new age" marketing doesn't allow you to actually show the product...OK, tongue in cheek, but Jeep ads suffer from the same mentality. They show interior shots of offices, where we ALL hate to be, but don't show the alternative, the actual Jeep product! Leave the current Jeep Ad voice-over, but scrap the footage and show...uh maybe Jeeps? Same for the Viper, it may be going away, but it's the iconic Halo vehicle for Dodge. At least show it some love and respect by placing it in the background of Dodge commercials. Stop being so PC and show the products you build! Buyers are tired of boring, MAN-UP and show your products.

I ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO IS BUYING A VECHICLE TO GIVE THEM A TRY. I AM POSTIVE THEY WILL FEEL THE SAME AND ENJOY THE WARRANTY THAT CHRYSLER JEEP HAS TO OFFER.
