The Washington DC Auto Show opens to the public Wednesday, but ahead of the masses, two important members of Congress came calling. U.S. Rep. Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.), Chairman of the Energy and Environment Subcommittee of the Energy and Commerce Committee. U.S. Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI) a member of the House Committee on Energy & Commerce popped over to the Washington Convention Center on Tuesday and spent a few minutes giving the Fiat Electra...a battery powered version of the Fiat 500, a close look. As the video shows, both Congressmen were duly impressed with Rep. Markey urging the company to build it and get the electric car out to the public. Duly noted!
